Won't disagree that skidsteers can be difficult to work on, especially if there is an accumulation of mud and dirt in the belly pan. But if you think a Case 1840/45 series is bad spend some "quality" time with a JCB 185 Robot! I had to remove the belly pan on my 1976 JD brawler loader about 25 years ago. No problems since. Now one of my hoses that is inside the belly pan and goes up to the main tank is leaking bad. You have a small 3 by 7 cover under the engine that acesses your chaincase and fuel tank drain plugs, then under the seat there is a drain hole on each side, outside of the chaincase at the rear. (where the tapered belly pan meet the chain case) And then there are covers on each side between your front and rear wheels.
I have a s-220. When I washed out my skid steer, I removed the two side access panels to scoop out a lot of dirt by hand. I also found a drain plug in the belly pan that I removed to help with drainage.
