We have had several of the Case models with hyd cylinders leaking early on. All of ours have the 6 way blades. Engine wise I like the Case better, controls wise, they are both about the same. Be ready to spend the bucks on the Deere for filters. Some dont cross to Wix, Napa or Baldwin. Most on the Case do interchange. The bobcat s250 is a very popular machine in the bobcat line up. I owned one before jumping into the s330. The s250 is a real nice machine. I had the same problem with a 40xt I had.ended up to be a bad design on the lift solenoid where the electric wire ran into it.could get water in it easily and corrode the connection. Case came out with an updated version. They aren't that expensive and are easy to install. I think there is one for the tilt and one for the lift.
Honda issued a Service Bulletin on this problem way back in 1988. The fix is to install a Shift Slider Kit, which has a new-style push arm, shift slider, and thrust washer. I just use sections of pvc and A "T" piece wich I trim to width and cut the front off so it resembles a bulldozer blade- I then push frome one side to the middle, and the otherside to the middle and then remove from the middle (unless the pile gets too big to move in which case I lift the pipe over the pile and push on) so i only have to move .

I think it's the PL850 hydro. I love it, but have problems with set screws backing out. Also, seems to just tear up bare ground/loose soil rather than pull cores. I think that's probably the case for all aerators, though. I thought the milky- yellow look was water in the oil. And at first, that may have been the case.
