The JD stuff is good for the life of the tire, and protects the rim from corrosion, dwhereas the Slime folks tell you you have to change it out every few years or it will corrode the rims. I was thinking the weighted tires would give a little extra counterweight for lift and help with traction without disrupting the balance of the machine.
