Whenever I start it up and let it idle a little to warm up, one of the steering levers will move forward on their own somehow, it makes a horrible noise and the engine will stall. It is also very noisy when moving at low speed and low idle. This is all with the parking brake engaged. john deer 250 had a hydraulic pump leave metal shavings. in the hydraulic oil. replaced pump and all hydraulic lines and cooler. went to restart the motor/ engine and got no hydraulic oil moving through the system. thinking there is air pockets. Hey Guys, I went to my local Deere Dealer to get Hydraulic Fluid in order to service my hydraulic fluid system. They advised me to use regular Engine Oil PLUS 50 in the system rather than the TORQ GUARD SUPREME fluid that I had in mind using. When New , the system had what appeared to be a greenish colored fluid in the system. Deere's plus 50 is regular 10W30 oil. If you use it in your hydraulic system, any reputable 10W30 will work fine. I have a Deere 318D that uses 10W30 oil in the hydraulic system and have had zero problems with it. My previous machine (Thomas T243HDS) also used 10W30. Unless you live in a warm climate year-round, I would use the 10W30.

Its body is a bobcat but its guts are actually from a 260 or 270 model john deere loader made in 2002. Its a long story on how i got this lovely half breed but its got some issues im having trouble figuring out and if i had a diagram of the hydraulic and hydrostatic routing i might be able to figure out whats routed wrong.

Unloaded a load, then went 1/2 mile to next field, boom will lift and tilt empty, but as soon as you try to lift a bale, it won't lift. Hydraulic oil level is where it should be, and I changed the filter, but that didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.
