Find a local Schaeffers dealer for your grease and never look back. I love the 238 Ultra Supreme, it has extra tackifier added. Lasts and lasts on my semi truck 5th wheel plate. I use it in my skid steer too. I won't touch the tractor supply, auto parts stores brands anymore. I need to add new oil to my skid steer and it specifies 10W-30. I'm going to rent a filter cart to clean the oil before putting it in and clean it again.
My pressure cleaner puts out a little over 1,000 PSI, it does as you said, it moves grease around. I would have thought that the heat and pressure wouldn't have an issue blasting crud off cast iron, but i guess the texture of the cast can make it a little harder.
I think you're right that ISO 46 is right for the Bobcat hydraulic components. Just make sure you get a quality anti-wear hydraulic fluid (Unless it is really cold, then get a multi-grade).
