I want to add a case drain to my 773G. Has anybody done this? Looking for easiest and cheapest way to do this. I haven't scrutinized the hydraulics schematics but I was curious if there is a lot of pressure in case drain line. Is it possible to just tap into a drain line with a "T" and replace the drain and have the drain tie into that? My new trencher attachment has a 3rd hose for a case drain, so I need to add a case drain hookup to the machine. I've found some writeups for other makes and models, but not for the Cat 259b3. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Sometimes referred to as a third line, the case drain line will relieve any excess pressure and drain it back to your return line, then into the reservoir.
