Then even then, sometimes some of the hydraulic functions will not work. There is a solenoid (mine is under the hydraulic filter on the back right) that releases or sets the parking brake. (not sure which) This little valve that allows hydraulic fluid to the brake mechanism can jam with the smallest of "material" aka. pieces of metal.
