The axle and the interior tubing are unbelievably shot, and I couldn't even hear it grinding. (Operators left rear). I have an S300 chaincase that is in good condition, needs cleaned up and repainted, but other than that a pretty good candidate for a swap out. You will need to remove the axle to see if there is any other damage. I wouldn't think there would be damage unless the bearing race wore through or the axle was rubbing. Drain and inspect the chain case.
