I usually let it high idle for 15-20 minutes before moving, and once outside I cycle the bucket/boom 3 or 4 times to warm the hydraulics. I have decided it's much easier to disassemble the starter while on the engine. Remove the 2 bolts 3/8 wrench that hold the end cap on and the small one 5/16 wrench that connects the power strap from the starter to the solenoid.

I can not find the fuel solenoid or what wire color goes to it. I have a schematic for a 1845 but it's not very informative. Do you mean the starter solenoid or the stop switch, the starter circuit will have a neutral start switch, the stop switch could have a relay, look in the parts book, you can use a temporary jump wire to power the solenoid to get going.
