Thanks for the tip. My 35D did the same thing, except it threw a SYS light on solid and it blew out the speed control rheostat. Stuck on idle thankfully. Motor shows 0L, open circuit. From what I can see it appears the brushes blew up in it, possibly causing enough of a short to take out the speed control.
Im working on a John Deere 35D SN pre26000. Throttle cable bound up tight holding the fuel pump on full at all times. SYS symbol blinking in display. Look at the break down and see there's an actuator and controller in the mix. Talked to a JD tech and his limited experience was change one and then the other-no real way of diagnosing.
Hello, I have a John Deere 35D Serial FF035DX236226. The unit tracks fine in standard travel mode. When you shift to Rabbit travel mode it turns to the right with both travel levers pushed forward equally as if the right track is moving slower than the left. I lifted the machine up and ran.
I recently purchased a Deere 35D, it runs great with the exception of this random stalling issue. When working with the machine it will randomly die out. Sometimes it fires right back up and runs fine the rest of the day, other times it will be dead for a solid 15 minutes. Ive had the machine for a week, ran pretty good for the first few days. @mg2361 thanks for the tip about W9. Problem solved. Here are the details for anyone interested: When the key is turned to start, power goes to the K2 relay, which connects together the red and the white/red wire. 12 volt unswitched power comes in on the red, and the white red goes to the starter solenoid via the X3 connector.
The 35d already had the auxiliary hydraulic plumbing with Faster couplers. Purchased an OEM John Deere male coupler and a Parker female coupler from Ebay. We tried to insert the male coupler into the female coupler I had purchased on Ebay but the aux female would not lock up to the John Deere male coupler. Looking for a service , parts and test manual for a 2006 john deere 35D mini excavator. Just purchased one that needs trouble shooting, dealer is costly. thanks for any help.
Good afternoon. I just joined the forum here and am hoping to get some help, it looks like there is a lot of knowledge and experience on here. I recently purchased a 2012 John Deere 35D mini ex, mainly to use for some farm cleanup and landscaping work. For what I want to do I think a hydraulic thumb would be a great addition to the machine.
Bought two Deere 27D minis in August 2015. No problems with both around 350 hours now. Fuel, oil and air filters are easy to access. You can tilt the cab to get into the back of the engine, starter and hydraulic lines. 35D is very similar. Both made by Hitachi in Japan. Good quality machines in my opinion.
