So when it hits 1000hrs I want to do a bunch of maintenance like change the hyd oil, but all the manual says is use "10w30 motor oil".. so I would like to put in the Rotella T semi synthetic 10w30 Diesel engine oil. Just wondering if that would be a great oil to use? AW46 is straight hyd. oil and TCH/Hy-Tran is similar to a universal tractor fluid. Look for an oil that says it meets the Case specs. Just for the hyd's. you shouldn't need anything special. Transmission is where it pays to use the OEM fluid. I've used TDH from Walmart for a hyd. fluid with no ill effects.
