I stumbled across this place while researching a problem I'm having with a 262c . I have a L170 skid steer with the heated cab. I stumbled across this place while researching a problem I'm having with a 262c skid. I was out pushing snow this evening and out of nowhere my heat stopped. Hi, I have an S185 and the heater and a/c isn't working. I've tried replacing the fuse in the cab. It just blows as soon as the blower switch is turned past 1. I've pulled the switch assembly out and nothing is burnt. Now I've lifted the cab up and taken the rear panel out and can see the fan blower assembly, ac condensor. How do I take it out? I just purchased a 2004 Cat 246B and the heater doesn't blow very good. I purchased a new filter for the heat-A/C and there isn't much change even though the filter was filthy. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Check to see if there is a shut off valve in the heater core hose. My skid at work has one that we shut off in the summer to make the a/c colder in the summer. If your engine temps are at normal then you should be getting heat. . Mechanic: Dan. Take a very close look at your heater control valves. Make sure your heater control valves are actually opening up the coolant flow through your heater core and heater hoses. I have a 2007 Bobcat T300 with cab heat and air (At least I think it has heat). The air conditioning works perfectly. When I turn the HVAC knob to the right to the red setting (heat) it just blows out cold air. I have a L170 skid steer with the heated cab.
