Is it overheating or not warming up? Not saying they can't go bad, but rarely do. I just bought my first skidsteer, 01 Bobcat 773G, and I have a over-heating issue. I lost some coolant when I installed the 1st blockheater. I added fuild to the resevoir, but noticed that it did not cycle back into the engine. #1. I run the Bobcat running up and down 15 degree hill picking up mulch for about half an hour to an hour.

I am working on a bobcat skid steer s150. The radiator fan is not starting. What can be the issue? Where should I start? A couple things to try. First, take out the thermostat completely and see if the issue still occurs. If not, bad thermostat. (Yes, they can be brand new and bad) Second, loosen the radiator cap or pull up the release lever if so equipped. Check issue, if not occurring get a new cap. If yes replace cap. Don’t let your skid-steer or compact track loader leave the garage after its scheduled maintenance without checking everything that keeps the cab warm.
