It has the Deutz oil cooled motor with a hole in the block. I'm thinking about putting a Cummins 3.3 in it but I have fou. So i was pretty much given a bobcat 873 F series with the deutz motor in it. About 7-8 years ago it ran good but it got the notorious oil leak in the tank.

I am currently looking at a 96 bobcat 873 with 2900 hrs and a 98 873 with 3100 hrs. Anyone own or have a decent amount of seat time in one of these machines? I have operated an 04 S 250, are they comparable? I have 873 bobcats which mostly the same as 863 but has vertical lift. the one i load feed with has over 11000 hrs on it and the one i scrape barn with has 9000 hrs. I have been looking into skid loaders for snow removal. Snow wont be its main fucntion, but I would like it to be able to push snow. I have come accross a Bobcat 873 C series.
