The pump pressure on my yanmar vio 45-5 is 3130 psi and on the 55-5 its 3555 psi but both machines have the same motor and pump, the only difference is the 55-5 counter weight is 470 kg heaver then the 45-5 and the arm is 300 mm longer. I was going to get one of the Thor kits for my mini excavator but haven’t got around to it. We currently use a hand held air operated post driver for fencing and hitting in star posts and have adapters to hit in 2in and 3in pipe. We usually use 3in pipe for end assemblies and drive them about 3ft in. These could be a possible option too. I've always considered 6000 as too many for a mini. But it all depends who ran it and did they maintain it. Say what you will about rentals, at least they maintain them. I have bought 5 mini's mostly from auctions and have had very good results. Keeping them for a couple of years, doing the odd job off my property and using it for myself plenty.

This is the only mini excavator that I have driven, and my issue is first that I think that i shakes and rattles quite a lot at idle and low RPM. It rattles so much so that I have to drive at a pretty high RPM, but then the.

A little tippy with a "big" scoop of dirt in the bucket with the boom all the way out over the side, no problem over the front or rear with the blade up.
